At Philly Fights Oral Cancer we take a comprehensive oral healthcare approach to educate children and adults; focusing on the at-risk, uninsured and under insured populations.

PFOC screens for oral cancer regardless of ability to pay. Screenings are funded by contributions and fundraising opportunities that pay for equipment used in screenings.

We work with dentists, doctors, dental hygienists, and other medical specialists who volunteer their time to screen those least likely to afford Oral Health care. Unlike other medical issues, patient screenings and office visits are not covered by medical insurance.

We provide initial screening, and then refer those who show signs of oral cancers to the appropriate medical professionals.  We provide resources, information and help for oral cancer patients in the greater Philadelphia area.

Philly Fights Oral Cancer; created to raise the awareness of the dramatic growth of this disease. It can affect any part of the mouth or throat. We believe no one should suffer a lifetime of illness due to abuse, neglect, or lack of preventive screening.
